Fourth Week of Italian Cuisine in the World

“Food Education: The Culture of Taste” is the theme of the fourth Week of Italian Cuisine in the World which will run from 18 to 24 November 2019.

These are the key components of the 2019 edition:

· The Mediterranean diet as a healthy lifestyle and model of balanced nutrition available to all.
· Products with registered and protected designation of origin and tackling the Italian Sounding phenomenon.
· Italian wines and their territories: the addition of the "Colline del Prosecco di Conegliano e Valdobbiadene" to the UNESCO World Heritage List.
· The food and wine and regional tourist itineraries, and re-discovery of Italian villages and their typical culinary products.
· The internationalisation of Italian training services in the culinary and hospitality sectors.
· Cultural activities linked to the celebration of the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci, a man who invented various innovative kitchen implements.
