Reception of April 18th 2018 following the projection of the show “Michelangelo and the secrets of the Sistine Chapel

On April 18th 2018, the evocative setting of Palazzo Borromeo hosted a reception following the projection of the innovative and unique show: “Michelangelo and the secrets of the Sistine Chapel”, designed by Marco Balich.

The show, which was inaugurated on March 15th and that continues the daily performances at the Teatro Auditorium della Conciliazione, aims to involve also young people with the use of modern language and innovative technologies, managing to convey the beauty and uniqueness of one of the masterpieces of universal art. The President of the Bracco Foundation, who is the greatest supporter of this show, illustrated a parallel pedagogical and cultural initiative, which has already involved 13.000 teachers and students, who had the opportunity to attend the show for free and to participate in the subsequent didactic moments proposed. The project, that involved 500 students per day, from primary, secondary and high school, will involve many others schools throughout the country. At the Auditorium was also present the Director of the Vatican Museums, Dr. Barbara Jatta.
